Kids & Their Grown-Ups: Ornament-Making Workshop
Make ornaments and memories together — an afternoon of Christmas crafting and lunch for kids and their grown-ups.
Sunday, December 6, 2026
1:00 PM - 3:30 PM
Knights of Columbus
113 Tennyson Avenue
Toms River, NJ
$39 includes registration for one adult and one child, plus pizza lunch. Additional adults and/or children are $15 each.
Suitable for ages 5+
For this workshop, you'll have the option of donating one of your or your child's handmade ornaments to other children in need this holiday season.
We're partnering with St. Peter’s University Hospital’s Child Life Program and the NJ Division of Child Protection and Permanency to help bring holiday gifts to children served by these programs. In addition to any ornaments you would like to donate, we’ll also be collecting new, unwrapped toys and delivering them to the program leaders in time for the holidays.
WHAT YOU'LL LEARN

Each child and adult will create up to four ornaments with step-by-step guidance, then enjoy a pizza lunch and time to socialize with other families. Spend an afternoon learning, creating, and starting a holiday tradition together. No crafting experience is needed.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
This is a hands-on experience. All material will be provided as part of your registration.
Learn simple crafting techniques you can use for future projects together.
I'm a retired mom of two who has loved all kinds of crafting since I was young. When my kiddies were small, we always made new Christmas ornaments every year. I'd love to share all of my ideas with you and your children so you can start your own holiday traditions.
Add your own creative touches to make each ornament unique. You can also personalize your ornament with a family photo!
